Hi all,

Just wanted to pop my head through the door and say hi.
Myself and my CO, Rachel, are expecting our first recruit and are about 8 weeks in so far.

Found the book on Amazon and have been reading it every night for the past week.

Great to find a resource that not only talks my language, but also makes this incredibly nerve wracking time seem somewhat more easy to deal with.

I'm the typical no-baby-experience bloke. My first friend to have a recruit is only 16 weeks along and we haven't decided to tell anyone yet so the isolation feels very real. First appointment with the midwife on Monday so I'm excited for that.

Will use this thread to keep all those interested updates with progress reports and sit-reps.

Cheers, Matt.

Over.

Hey Buddy!!

Welcome to the ranks!! So glad to hear the book is doing its job - i.e. helping you with your prep!

Regular sit-reps would be great, and ask as many questions as you have.

Keep posting chap.

Kindest regards

Neil Sinclair.
